12/07/2007 - BRACKETS RELEASED
Sorry for the delay...but the
brackets have finally been released. There were some game-time issues we had to
fix as well as some scheduling conflicts. Looks like we've got the problem
solved. We have added Morro Bay High School as one of the host sites. 2 games
will be played there on Friday and Saturday. Make sure you look at the
"Game by Game Schedule" as it includes the "out of bracket"
games on December 18 and 19.
-----------------------------------------------
12/06/2007 - CAMPBELL HALL RETURNING
We are excited to announce the
return of defending champion Campbell Hall High School (ranked #25 in the
nation by ESPN). They will be playing a showcase game at the Mission Prep
Christmas Classic on Saturday, December 22. The Vikings will face off against
St. Andrew's School (Barrington, RI). St. Andrew's School defeated Campbell
Hall at the Bay Ball Classic last season, and it ended up being the only loss
on the season for the Vikings. Campbell Hall is led by super-guard and
defending Christmas Classic MVP Jrue Holiday. Holiday is ranked as one of the
top 10 recruits in the nation and is headed to UCLA next year. Although they
can't compete for the Christmas Classic Championship, it's great to have them
back.
-----------------------------------------------
12/05/2007 - NEW TEAM ADDED
Due to a late drop in the
tournament field, we have added Fremont High School of Los Angeles, CA. They
will move into the National Division. Their top player (pending eligibility) is
a transfer from View Park High School by the name of Jason Pruitt. He is the
brother of the NBA's Gabe Pruitt. Fremont is an athletic and scrappy team and
should make the National Division even more exciting.
